Sixers Fix with Scott Ninnis - All-Time Adelaide 36ers Teams
Monday May 11, 2020
Monday May 11, 2020
Sixers Fix with Scott Ninnis is back with another packed episode and this time it's time to take a look at the all-time best teams of the Adelaide 36ers in the NBL.
NBL and Sixers Writer Chris Pike teams up with the only man to be involved in all four of Adelaide's NBL championships, Scott Ninnis, and with the club's greatest ever player Brett Maher to sit down and look back through history and select the all-time All-First and Second teams of the 36ers.
But before that there's some current day happenings for the trio to dissect including COVID-19, Conner Henry's coaching appointment and the re-signing for the next three years of five-time club MVP Daniel Johnson.
Then it's time for what everyone has tuned in for and that's the selections of All-First and Second teams in the history of the Adelaide 36ers, and boy is it a fascinating discussion.
Do you go with Al Green or Darnell Mee as point guard, or is it someone else?
Does Brett Maher pick himself as two guard and is there anyone that can bump him out of the starting line-up?
Is two years of brilliance from Robert Rose enough to bump out Martin Cattalini or a host of other star small forwards who were longer servants?
Does Mark Davis automatically go into the four spot or does some creative thinking come into it to put together the front court? Where does Daniel Johnson fit? Does Adam Ballinger or Jacob Holmes or Dusty Rychart or Anthony Petrie find a home?
Does Mark Bradtke go in as centre having started his career in Adelaide, do you go with David Stiff or Bill Jones or even someone like Paul Rees?
Find out what Scott Ninnis, Brett Maher and Chris Pike think on Sixers Fix and then offer your own thoughts!
