Sixers Fix with Scott Ninnis - Isaac Humphries Episode
Saturday Mar 27, 2021
Saturday Mar 27, 2021
Another big episode of Sixers Fix with Scott Ninnis as we break down the games for the Adelaide 36ers in Round 10 of #NBL21, look ahead to the trip to Cairns on Sunday and catch up with big man on the mend Isaac Humphries.
Hosts Chris Pike and Scott Ninnis are back on Sixers Fix and open up the show this week looking back on the losses in Round 10 of the 2021 NBL season for the Adelaide 36ers against the South East Melbourne Phoenix and Perth Wildcats.
Scott found it especially hard to stomach the loss to the Phoenix after how well the 36ers had played for most of the four quarters before the trip to Perth and an encouraging showing against the Wildcats despite the absence of Humphries and Josh Giddey, and being without Sunday Dech, Keanu Pinder and Brandon Paul by the end.
There were certainly positive signs in both games for the Sixers but some glaring areas of concern as well and we don't sugar coat anything here on Sixers Fix, just give an honest account on how the 36ers are tracking in the NBL.
We then provide an update on the Premium Wine Tours Player of the Year Award and give another prize pack away thanks to Australian Motors Mitsubishi as part of our Player of the Week.
It's then time for our special guest this week thanks to Sports Card World, and we catch up with Isaac Humphries. He was leading most MVP awards by the time he injured his foot and we chat to him about an update on his recovery, how he was feeling before the injury and how he's settling into Adelaide.
We also chat about his partnership with Josh Giddey, teaming up with Daniel Johnson, his toughest NBA big to guard, his thoughts on winning Premium Wine Tours Player of the Year, and so much more in a fascinating discussion.
We then preview Sunday's game for the Adelaide 36ers against the Cairns Taipans and then wrap up the show for another week.

Chris Pike and Scott Ninnis are back for another episode of Sixers Fix and there's plenty to dissect following the conclusion of the NBL Cup. Scott couldn't hold back his devastation about giving up a 26-point lead to the Perth Wildcats to conclude the tournament within a season in Melbourne either.
But at the same time, we couldn't have been more impressed with the debut of Brandon Paul along with the continued strong performances from the likes of Josh Giddey, Sunday Dech and Jack McVeigh.

We then take a look at this week's road games for the 36ers against the South East Melbourne Phoenix and Perth Wildcats, and Scott even explains why he says Perth superstar Bryce Cotton is now in elite company.
