We are back with another episode of Sixers Fix with Scott Ninnis fresh off two wins in the NBL for the Adelaide 36ers as we wrap that all up while talking to Dusty Hannahs and assistant coach Jamie Pearlman.
Co-hosts Chris Pike and Scott Ninnis bring you the official Adelaide 36ers podcast and there's plenty of ground to cover on this week's show.
We beginning by looking back on the opening round of #NBL22 and the wins for the Sixers firstly in Tasmania against the JackJumpers and then with a 19-point come from behind win at home to the New Zealand Breakers.
We break down those performances and all the other happenings from a dramatic round in the NBL before chatting with new Sixers import shooting guard Dusty Hannahs.
Dusty opens up about his eventful four games in the NBL as well as how he's finding his new club, the league and his teammates as well as coach CJ Bruton. Dusty also talks about why he wanted to play in the NBL, why his focus is on helping the 36ers win even though he has a desire to get back to the NBA.
He also opens up about his girlfriend arriving in Adelaide to join him this week from Arkansas, why playing golf has been so important to him over the past year and so much more.
It's then time for our first Ask the Coach segment thanks to Sports Card World where Jamie Pearlman steps up to the plate to answer the questions from our listeners and 36ers fans.
Everything from the funniest player on the team, who he'd want taking the game winning shot, words after Round 1 to Dusty Hannahs, settling into having a new coach, comparing the NBL to other leagues, up and coming players, and his most memorable moment as a player are all covered with one listener winning the Upper Deck Space Jam - A New Legacy Blaster, valued at $79.
We then are back to preview the Round 3 match up on Saturday night on the road to the Cairns Taipans.
